The COSHEP’s supervising committees approved by the Palestinian Minister of Labor

Steering Committee

The Committee consists of representatives of the following institutions:

1. Minister of Labor or his representative - Chairman of this Committee.

2. President of the University or his representative- Vice-Chairman.

3. Secretary General of the Palestinian Federation of Trade Unions.

4. President of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

5. Director General of Civil Defense.

6. Director General of Inspection and Labor Protection.

7. Director of the National Center for Safety and Health.

8. A representative of the Ministry of Labor.

9. Three representatives of private sector companies.

10. An expert in occupational safety and health.

Technical Committee

It consists of:

1.  Vice-President for Community Service (Chairman of this Committee).

2.  Director General of Inspection and Labor Protection (Vice President).

3.  Director of the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health.

4.  One or two representatives of the jurisdiction in the Ministry of Labor.

5.  One or two representatives of the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health.

6.  Three representatives of trade unions.

7.  Three representatives from the private sector.

8.   A representative of the Ministry of Labor.

9.   A representative of civil defense.

10. A representative of the National Occupational Safety and Health Committee.

11. A representative of the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

12.  A representative of the Palestinian Institution for Standards and Metrology.

13.  One or two experts and consultants in the field of occupational safety and health.
