The director of the national center, mr. Malik Muhammad Salhab, participated in the second Arab safety conference organized by the arab institute for safety sciences in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the chairman of the board of directors of the institute, engineer Ahmed al-Shehri, and the executive director of the center, dr. Muhammad Kamal, and a group of specialists and experts in this the field came from various Arab countries, with a wide audience from various countries as well.
The conference was held over three days from 23-25/9/2021 via zoom platform under the slogan (Arab Safety... Towards a Safe Society). During the conference, three axes were presented: modern technologies and trends in safety sciences, climate changes and their impact on the safety of facilities. The third axis revolves around the challenges of applying codes and safety regulations on buildings.
Mr. Salhab submitted a scientific paper about the (The Prevalence & Risk Factors of Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders Among Warehousing & Manual Handling Workers in a Palestinian Factory), in addition to his participation on the second day of the conference in the discussion session on the second axis, that discusses climate changes and their impact on the safety of facilities and the environment, by highlighting the impact of inequality and fairness among workers and polluting the environment.
